Your baby is about the size of a cauliflower, and by week 28 they’re about the size of an eggplant.

Your baby is growing in size very quickly! The fat on their body continues to develop (and will through birth). This will allow them to start regulating their own temperature shortly after birth.

There is also a lot of brain development continuing to happen during these two weeks. They start using those senses more often and can start to connect them together as a single event rather than independent instances. Along with other brain development, your baby starts to experience REM sleep around week 28. This means they likely start experiencing dreams!
