New Tempdrop Features: September 2024

We're excited to launch some new app features into your Tempdrop App. We are consistently listening to your feedback so that we can continuously innovate and make your Tempdrop experience better.

This latest update will also empower us to conduct further research into women’s health and cycles.

Price Adjustments

Our app subscription is increasing, but we’re giving you the chance to save big by upgrading to an annual plan before the increase takes effect.

In the Tempdrop App, go to: Menu > Premium. Then select the annual plan.

If you are currently on a monthly plan, and would like to take advantage of the current annual plan price please follow these steps:

 1. Open your app store to cancel the Tempdrop monthly subscription.

2. Open your Tempdrop app and sign up to a yearly subscription.

Switch now to save 49% off the next year – that’s like getting 6 months free at the new price! Plus, enjoy uninterrupted access to all our premium features, helping you stay on top of your fertility goals with even more value.

Update 1: Purpose of Use Categories

Two cae=tegories shown - Get pregnant and Cycle Tracking

You will now choose from only 2 options at onboarding rather than 3:

    1. Trying to Conceive
    2. Cycle Tracking

What to do next?

You will be asked to complete short onboarding questions when you update your app.

IMPORTANT: If you are currently using ‘Practice Fertility Awareness’ mode your app mode will be changed to ‘Cycle Tracking’ after answering a few questions.

See the additional information for PFA users at the end of this article.

Update 2: New Account User Profile

We’ve created a new profile section so you can easily manage your personal information in one place. Easily update:

  • Your account name
  • Email address
  • Password
  • Health information

Update 3: Cycle History Revamp

We’ve enhanced the cycle history section with a cycle status snapshot.

In the Tempdrop App, go to: Menu > Cycles to see your average cycle length and your cycle status (irregular or regular).

Update 4: Enhanced Data Privacy Experience

We’re always looking to improve our privacy protocols to give you a better privacy experience. You now have more control over the data you share with us. Easily manage your privacy settings and choose what you’re comfortable sharing with us.

One key change: we’re asking you to share your anonymized data with researchers. Our hope is that this health data can enable future research and studies to benefit women around the world.

Update 5: Redesigned Menu and Onboarding

Enjoy a smoother, more intuitive experience from the start.

Important: PFA users

If you are currently using ‘Practice Fertility Awareness’ mode your app mode will be changed to ‘Cycle Tracking’ after answering a few questions.

You will still have the option of using Cervical Mucus as a cross-check to confirm ovulation. When turned on, the app will only confirm ovulation if a valid peak day (P123) coincides with the temperature shift.

To enable this feature:

  1. Go to the main menu
  2. Select ‘Settings’ > ‘App settings’
  3. Toggle the "Cross-Check Ovulation" option (second option in the list).

Note that you will also be prompted to turn on this setting if you enter cervical mucus.

In addition, we have also added a fertility window indication (for premium users only) for the cycle tracking mode.
